So, today I’m kicking off my MWF Recommendations—every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I will recommend something awesome to you people, because I like awesome things, and I believe that they should be shared. This is where the “mostly” part of my “mostly movie blog” comes in: I’ll be recommending anything from films to songs to books to food to cool internet sites that make good time-wasters.

Today’s Recommendation: McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, which can be found here: http://www.mcsweeneys.net/. It’s not always the easiest site in the world to navigate, but they’ve got a lot of neat stuff in there, including their own list of recommendations (which I may have shamelessly stolen this idea from) and my personal favorite, Open Letters To People Or Entities Who Are Unlikely to Respond. Some good ones include “An Open Letter To The Guy At My Gym Who Screams When He Lifts Weights,” “An Open Letter To The Man Wearing A T-Shirt That Says ‘It Isn’t Going To Suck Itself,’” and “An Open Letter to Ann Coulter”.
