You’re probably right, but I’m too curious not to see it. I’ll probably wait for the rental, at least.

If you decide to watch Kill List, I’d suggest finding a version with subtitles, or finding a transcript online, if you can. I eventually adjusted to the somewhat mumbly, accented dialogue, but it was pretty hard to understand for the first twenty to thirty minutes.

Also, many reviews spoil or partially spoil the third act, and it is one of those “How much is really happening and how much is the protagonist imagining?” movies, which I know you don’t like those. It’s pretty awesome though. It’s like a trippy horror version of In Bruges. (I think I would watch the trippy horror version of every movie in the universe. Especially things like Patch Adams… Or every Robin Williams movie, really. It would be so carthartic)

Yeah, that’s not best sign. It kind of strikes me as the sort of movie that could either be brilliant or really falls short of the mark. I wouldn’t put money on brilliant, but I might try it out at some point, regardless.

I have not heard of this Kill List. Going over to IMDB now . . .

Not sure. They haven’t revealed that part yet. Although in fanfiction, the two main resurrection methods are 1) Never truly died in the first place, and Nick Fury is an even bigger manipulative bastard than we thought, or 2) Asgardian magic brings Coulson back. Have to wait and see, I guess.
