Today’s Recommendation: Non Trendy Cupcakes.
An Argument In Favor of This Recommendation:
1.) The cost of one box of Betty Crocker cake mix (that makes roughly 24 cupcakes) and an entire jar of Betty Crocker frosting (that you can eat by the spoonful later if you have any leftover . . . which is, ahem, clearly something I’ve never done) is roughly equivalent to the cost of one or two trendy cupcakes from a cupcakery.
2.) You don’t have to feel guilty for eating something that looks like a work of art that by all rights ought to be preserved in some kind of glorious museum of baked goodies.
3.) Betty Crocker tastes better.
