. . . so if you haven’t watched it yet, you really should just skip to the next post.
Also, thanks to everyone who responded to last week’s question. The answer was unanimous: no one would mind murdering a serial killer, even in his sleep, if it saved their loved one from dying. A lot of you thought that sounded obvious, but it really does help to hear other people’s opinions on the matter. So gracias, fellow psychos. Your homicidal instincts are invaluable.
The original script includes a subtitle at the beginning saying that by the end all but one of them will be dead. Pink is the only person left for that to apply to. You could argue that there’s a reason other than suspense that might have caused them to leave that line out, however the gunshots from the police were due to coming in and seeing a desperate guy with a gun. It doesn’t seem unlikely that Pink might have given himself up once completely surrounded rather than simply being chased.
The problem with the poll is that you say Mr. Pink survived because he was awesome. I’d say Mr. Pink survived because he’s a self-centred prick.
I love Mr. Pink. I was rooting for him the whole way. He and Mr. Blonde are my favorite characters in that movie.
Mr. Pink shot his way out when the jewelery store was surrounded by cops. It’s possible he could have done the same thing again.
