Why Are There Only Good Witches or Bad Witches? Where Are the Morally Neutral Witches?

This one’s a bit of a surprise. Your very favorite witch movie of all time is . . .

Not that I dislike Sleepy Hollow. Actually, I’ve always really liked this movie—Johnny Depp being scared of spiders, Miranda Richardson’s voice, Christopher Walken’s teeth—but Practical Magic was leading the pack since voting practically began. A last minute vote sometime this morning bumped Practical Magical to a silver medal. The Wizard of Oz took bronze, and Teen Witch and The Craft tied for last place.

Poor The Craft. This is definitely my pick for favorite witch movie of all time. I have crazy nostalgia for this film . . . and who doesn’t like to do a Fairuza Balk impression?

Hee hee hee.

I also enjoy the craft. When that movie came out, it was like a gift from God because of my messed up teenage brain. I also have nostalgia for that movie.
I LOVE Sleepy Hollow, but don’t think it’s a good witch movie. I know at the end it’s revealed that the crazy witch was f’en up sleepy hollow but there isn’t enough witchery throughout it…it’s more of a ghost movie.

I haven’t seen Practical Magic but a lot of reviews have said here wasn’t actually a whole lot of magic in that one either.

I didn’t realize that was the same chick from Worst Witch.
