Here’s some music for the best holiday of the year.
Yep. John Carpenter’s theme music for Halloween easily won the day with nine votes. The competition for second place was fierce, though, in the way that almost every other movie on the list tied for third. Emerging victorious for the silver medal?
Third place was a five-way tie between The Exorcist, Poltergeist, The Omen, Suspiria, and 28 Days Later. These films got two votes each. Rosemary’s Baby managed to get exactly one vote, leaving poor, unloved Friday the 13th and Candyman tied for last place with no votes at all.
The funny thing? I’ve had the music for Candyman stuck in my head all damn week. Best go listen to it again, I guess.
