First, I just want to mention that I’m going to be out of town all next week, so you probably won’t see much from me on this blog. Although I do hope to have one review for you, at least, and Spoilers — it’s gonna be a blasphemy.

Moving on. The Clarion West Write-a-thon started up this week. I chose not to participate this year for personal reasons, but I definitely hope to again in 2015. Meanwhile, hundreds of tremendously talented people are writing for a good cause, so I’m here today to put on my Campaigning Hat and beg you for money.

Okay, this MAY be less of a campaigning hat than a hat I was wearing when I wrote this post. But NOW it’s my bestest campaigning hat ever.

Seriously, if you do have the funds, consider looking into sponsoring one or multiple writers for the Write-a-Thon. You can donate any amount, and the money goes to all sorts of good things for Clarion West — like, for instance, the scholarship fund which helps students attend if they’re coming up a little short on tuition. (Said scholarship helped yours truly back in 2012.) Also, I figure you get Karmic Bonus Points for at least a month, right?

Come on, you in the back. I KNOW you need the good karma. Don’t even lie.
